Hello 2024
(Jan 2024) Wishing everyone a wonderful 2024. It's been a busy year for me, not least after moving from near Heidelberg to Pfalz. I will be exhibiting again this year at the Fotonostrum gallery in April and at some other point in the year, and a variety of my works can also be seen at the Edition One gallery in Santa Fe.
Fotonostrum Exhibition Now Open
(April 2023) I am exhibiting in the Fotonostrum gallery, Barcelona from the 20th of April - 7th of May (2023). The artwork featured is highlights of the 'Beasts of Wonder' and 'Botanicals' series (as part of the wider Julia Margaret Cameron awards exhibition) and can be found downstairs in the 'overall winners' section.
Fine Art Photography Awards
(April 2023) I'm happy to share that 'Head Above the Clouds I' and my botanical series have both received nominations in the Fine Art Photography Awards (in the category Photomanipulation).
Digital Photographer Magazine
(December 2022) I can now share that I have a feature in Issue 261 of Digital Photographer magazine! Check it out on page 73 if you happen to pick up a copy.
19th Julia Margaret Cameron Awards
(November 2022) I'm very excited and suprised to announce that I am one of the four overall winners of the 19th Julia Margaret Cameron Awards (under my maiden name, Sarah Burge). In addition to winning overall I also won best single image in the digital manipulation category (with five honourable mentions), and an honourable mention for digital manipulation series with my botanical series. I will be featured in the Fotonostrum Gallery in Barcelona, April 2023, further details to be announced.
